Road-sea combined transport of goods by using Ro-Ro ships. Scheduled maritime transport of trucks, trailers, swap bodies and containers that guarantees conditions of frequency, rapidity and cost-effectiveness, integrated in a logistic operations chain. The goal is that of ensuring the transport of goods (from the origin point to the destination one) under conditions that are comparable to those of the road transport.
The sea highways are created:
1) between harbours of the same Country (segment of the coastal navigation activity);
2) between international harbours (segment of the Short Sea Shipping activity).
