Also known as semi-bulk, it includes all the goods whose loading requires a particular allocation in the transport means. These products are usually packed or contained (tied together, organised accordingly to a specific order) and can be packages, pallets, boxes, rolls, trunks, etc.
Their handling usually cannot be carried out by using pumps or completely mechanised machineries, whereas by using cranes operated by hold and dock’s staff, more expensive than the bulk’s handling.
