The H&S logic (hub and spokes) allows to reduce the connections necessary for the exchange of goods and the negative impacts on the cost and service generated by breakage of the cargo. The H&S method requires the concentration of traffic on a few points (hubs) that flip the goods to peripheral structures (spoke). from which the final deliveries on short land itineraries originate.
